This weather has been so unpredictable lately. One day its sunny and warm, and the next its raining and freezing cold. It’s just my luck that I was stuck with the rainy and freezing cold days for my blog photos. I’ve come accustom to taking my photos somewhere outdoors and in the city. I don’t mind the cold temperatures at all. To be frank, winter is my favorite season. What I don’t like is the freezing temperatures and rain mixed together. That’s a horrible combination. All right, let me stop complaining. It’s just that I pull my inspiration from the city. Oh yeah, if you haven’t picked it up by now, I don’t live in the city. Okay, okay I’m done complaining.
I was wrong about needing to be in the city for inspiration. Being at home was inspiration enough. There will be time when you won’t have the luxury to get away to find things that inspire you. Understand that it’s okay. This is when you’re tested to find the inspiration from within. The creativity is already inside of you. You just have to spend time with yourself to see it and bring it out. For me my inspiration started right at home when I was just a little girl. My parents played a big part in helping me develop this part of me. I had arts and crafts, books, music, and dance classes to inspire me. To sum this all up, you don’t always need to run to a new environment to become inspired, because most of the time it’s right there at home.
