Hey, Everyone! I'm back and with a purpose. For the past few months, I've been thinking about how I want a change. A change in the way I view myself, my life, and my purpose. Why for the sudden change? Well, I found myself facing challenging situations that made me feel as if I was at a road block. My career, my spirituality, my friendships, and life period felt as if it was falling apart. I started to question if I was good enough, did I make the right career moves, and do I have an outgoing personality. You will realize that every decision you make in life has a consequence, whether it’s good or bad. What makes it challenging to deal with is that life doesn't come with a guide book. Life is all about trial and error. The positive side of trial and error is that no matter the outcome there is a lesson to be learned. Boy oh boy, am I learning my lessons. Sometimes it's not about the decisions we make, but how we handle our journey to our destination (The Process). I kept hearing over-and-over again enjoy "the process". My question was, how can you enjoy your process when you are constantly rejected? I'm going to answer this the best way I possibly can. I'm learning that you have to take it step by step, moment by moment, and situation by situation. If we view it from a point as a whole then, it will become overwhelming to deal with, and for sure mistakes will be made. However, if you view it situation by situation, then you have the capability to assess and resolve each situation. Another way to help us enjoy and understand our process is knowing our purpose. How? Because with knowing your purpose you know who you are, and what you are supposed to do in life. Knowing those two components will lift a weight off of your shoulders. Now I'm not saying that it will be easy because it's not. There will be temptations and distraction, along your journey, to try to pull you away from your purpose. Those temptations will try to reel you in by making life seem better by going in the direction of that temptation. Be careful because at first things may go well, but later all madness can and will break loose. When facing these challenges, understand that it's to build strength,  because whatever your purpose is you will need to be strong. Not everyone is meant to understand your purpose. People will try to make it seem as if your purpose doesn't make sense, but don't let them. It's a way to distract you by bringing negativity to your life, and sometimes they are uncertain of their purpose for their life.

Finding Your Purpose:

Some people discover their purpose early on in life, some later in life, and others leave this earth never knowing their purpose. What helped me discover my purpose was by building a relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirt. Once I started, my spiritual journey everything became clear to me. I was able to see the many career paths that I would embark on, and who I will become. The thing is, you will see the end results but not the journey on the way. That's why we have to take our process one day at a time.

Along your journey, you will meet people that inspire you, and some you inspire them. So if you feel like giving up don't because you never know who you will help. Stay strong because you are not alone. I hope this will help someone discover and understand their purpose.

  1. It's hard to find purpose, and it's harder to stick to your purpose. I don't think I know what my purpose, in life or in myself, is. Rather, I go wherever I need to do and do in order to go. You know? Haha. Love your outfit by the way! I need a denim jacket in my life <3

  2. That is true, and that's part of the process. Don't worry you will discover your purpose. One way to discover your purpose could be through something you're talented in (like painting, acting, and so on). Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, and liking my outfit selection! Subscribe through email to receive notification on when I post. :)

You are so right. It's definitely getting tougher to live and be true to you while on this Earth. I too get emotional while praying, and it's okay. It just goes to show how much you care for change. Thanks for sharing and commenting. Have a great one! :)
