Work In Progress

Q: What do each and every one of us have in common?

A: That we all are a work in progress. Although, most of us don't realize it.

It's interesting how we can forget "where we started from." Usually, for most of us, that means starting from the bottom. As I like to call it Level One. What's discouraging is how the ones who forget tend to put down the ones who are just starting their process. Maybe it's just me, but I'm noticing that life seems to be set on levels and that these levels can reset at any time. It all depends on how we play our cards. In other words, it depends on how we live our life and treat others. Of course starting at level one will be frustrating, but so is level two, three, four, and the next. Why? Because each time you're getting ready for the next level in self-development the test becomes more challenging. New trials arise to mold and build us into the person God wants us to be. At times, you'll feel like you haven't made any progress towards being a better you, but that's not true. God is just preparing you for your next level. Once you overcome those tests and trials, things will start to fall into place, and you will feel amazing. However, in that moment of feeling amazing, you'll be tested (again) but on your character. Being a work in progress isn't always just for life accomplishments, but also for who we are. It's during those tests that God is making us stronger, wiser, fearless, and kindhearted. This brings me back to the point how some people forget where they started from and in the process put others down. When God test us on character, He's checking to see if we forgot who brought us to that level. God is the one who's getting us through these tests, and developing us to be the amazing person He wants us to be. So don't put others down in the process instead help encourage them through theirs. It makes a person process easier when there is someone who supports and cheers them on. It doesn't matter if you're related to them or not. Just the fact that you are there for them is good enough because we've all been at that place of starting from the bottom.
